We are very pleased to hear from CRT that Oxclose Lock is due to reopen on Saturday 17th July after approximately 3 months of closure. We all need to be grateful to the excellent work that has been done by CRT to repair major damage to the lock. Ironically Ripon Motor Boat Club would probably not be here now if the same lock hadn’t collapsed back in 1931.
We were very pleased to help CRT by allowing them to use our car park to launch their equipment to carry out the repairs.
